Having played professional cricket for more than 5 years in India, I developed an immediate liking for health sciences. This prompted me to make the move to Australia and pursue a Bachelor of Exercise and sports science with Exercise Physiology and Strength & Conditioning as majors at Deakin University. During my time at Deakin, I worked as a strength and conditioning coach for various cricket clubs before working as a Sports scientist after graduation. Having firsthand experience with injuries throughout my cricket career, I developed a keen appreciation for the vital role of Allied Healthcare professionals. This led me to pursue a Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University.
In addition to my academic background, I have over two years of experience as a Chiropractic Assistant and nearly five years working in the health and nutrition industry as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Sports Scientist. My passion for helping individuals achieve their health and fitness goals has been the driving force throughout my career.
As I neared the completion of my Master’s degree, I began seeking graduate opportunities that aligned with my values and clinical approach, particularly those that emphasised evidence-based practice and patient-centred care. After researching various clinics, I was drawn to Necks Backs Sports due to its commitment to high-quality care and the mentorship provided by Kaushal and Jacob. I knew this would be an ideal environment to grow professionally and contribute meaningfully to patient care.
What I find most rewarding about being a Chiropractor and allied healthcare professional is witnessing patients achieve their goals. With my diverse background and ongoing commitment to professional development, I am dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to help my patients reach their full potential.
We at Necks Backs Sports look forward to working with you to provide exceptional healthcare and support your journey to optimal health.
